A wedding paywall ensures your stream is only accessible to invited guests or those who have contributed to the production cost. It also serves as a privacy layer, keeping the ceremony off public platforms.
Creating a private event
Use a streaming platform that supports private, ticketed events. Create the event with the ceremony date, time, and a description that includes the couple names and a welcome message.
Set the price to zero for a free private event, or to a small amount (5 to 10 pounds) to cover costs. The paywall acts as a gate that controls who can access the stream.
Sharing access
Share the event link via the wedding website, email, or messaging. The link can be password-protected for an extra layer of privacy.
For free events, viewers click the link and enter their email to access the stream. For ticketed events, they enter card details and gain immediate access.
Private, beautiful, secure
PassCast wedding streams are private by default. Only people with the link can find and access your event.
